Congratulations Newham Primary School

Newham Primary School won the Woolworths Junior Landcare Team Award at the 2019 Victorian Landcare Awards ceremony at Government House in Melbourne on 31 August.

The school won the award due to the great results it has achieved with its environmental and sustainability programs. Integral to the success of these programs has been the support that the school has received for its Junior Landcare Program from its 13-year partnership with Newham and District Landcare Group, and its commitment to student-led projects such as the recent frog bog project, which sees southern brown tree frogs now call the frog bog home.

New website live (22/1/19)

Dear members, we have been busy updating a new website format. Please take some time to browse and provide constructive feedback via email to Helen. It’s a work in progress at present as we find the best way to balance a lot of information with our photos.

Thanks to Irene O’Duffy of Folio Forty Pty Ltd for assistance with setting up the website and providing valuable advice!
