About Us

Newham & District Landcare Group was started in May 2004 by Jim Sansom

Jim Sansom

Major goals relate to:

• protection and enhancement of remnant vegetation and revegetating areas that will provide links between remnants – the Biolink. This encompasses pest plant and animal control, rehabilitation of waterways and roadside activities.
• development of Newham community through shared involvement in activities that enhance our environment in the broadest sense. This encompasses involvement with Newham Primary school and other local schools and Wesley Park.
